The channel controller was clear when she gave the brief, ‘This is about pure emotion.’ This was the only place on the airways where normal people’s stories formed the backbone of the content. Not reality TV just real people with troubles and triumphs like your own. Everyone who worked on this small gem of a channel felt a connection to it. Tiny budgets for everything but it consistently packed a punch well beyond it’s resources. We were all sorry to see it decommissioned in 2012.
